Can't you see the grass is greener where it rains...

So baseball season is officially over for me. =(

When the Yankees lost to the Red Sox last year, I was bummed, but I got over it. But tonight's loss hit me real hard. I've become such a huge fan in the past year that it just HURTS to see them lose. They had so many opportunities to score some runs, though. Still...The past six months or so of watching games and going to them has been incredible. I've become so emotionally attached to the Yankees, it amazes me. And I've learned so much. I understand things, I know the names of players from other teams. I went to SIX game this season, which may not be a lot for some people, but being that I never went to a baseball game before in my life, I think that's pretty good. I never thought I'd ever become a baseball fan, nevermind to this extent. It was a good season, though, and I had fun. And hey, I'm proud of them making it as far as they did, cause three months ago, we didn't think they'd make it into the playoffs at all. If there's only one thing that I ever get out of knowing Drew all this time, I'm glad it was baseball. =P

And hey, at least Boston didn't make it either. =P

Anywho, enough about baseball. This weekend was awesome. Went home because I've finally reached the point where I needed a break from the chaos of Seton Hall and missed my family. Spent Saturday with mommy...Went to a few stores, had dinner, got some coffee. Spent Sunday at Daddy's. Went to the mall with my stepmom where I got a ridiculous amount of clothes from New York & Company...Yay for getting birthday presents from the parents a week early! I friggin love that store, too. I wish I owned every article of clothing there.

But it's back to school for another boring week. Four days till I'm 20 though!

I absolutely ADORE this weather. The rain kinda sucks, but the cool, crisp air feels so good. I'm so happy it's Fall...I love the cool air and those chilly Fall evenings. Makes me want a warm coffee from Starbucks (no more iced caramel macchiatos). And Fall means I can break out the boots and button down shirts. I love my button downs.

I had other stuff to say, but the game tonight kinda killed my mood. Oh well. I need to find something to do in the off season to occupy myself until April. =/
